Ok ok ok. I know it's been QUITE a while since I've done this soooo I have a lot to cover and frankly I don't remember it all. The big thing going on is Ray being essentially kicked out of school for something he didn't do (b/c if he had done it, which he wouldn't, he wouldn't have gotten caught) which is stressing us all out.
But how am I doing? I am doing fabulously. I've started the grad school search. I really want to go to BU but, well, I don't know if I could survive a Boston winter. But there's a Comm grad school at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest and a bunch in Fl. Now all I have to do is check up on how good they are and all that fun stuff. I've also applied for this great internship for the summer but I doubt that I'll get it which is sad but oh well. What'll ya do?
So, DC has been FANTASTIC. Well what time I've spent up here has. I've really gone to HSC a lot this semester, which isn't a bad thing, just a thing. But there is soo much to do up here. And my teacher is really slack which gives me a lot of free time on the weekdays to do stuff which is nice. So far my favorite thing has been seeing the cherry blossoms. They were sooo gorgeous. OH!!! AND I got to see Buddhist monks. THAT was cool. I think I got a picture of them but I'm not sure as I don't currently have a way to connect my digital camera to my computer. But once I do, I will try to find a way to get pictures posted. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok so I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. Life has been rather hectic here. Ray's grandmother died last week, which was really sad but at least I got to meet her. So we went up for the funeral on Wednesday and that was really nice. It was a beautiful day for it and I didn't have to go to class. Yay! (Not to take away from the seriousness of her dying or anything). But at least she's not in pain anymore and Ray has her being sick off of his mind and can focus on school work more now.
Speaking of school work, remind me NEVER to take only 12 credits again! I am sooooooo freakin bored and I can't go anywhere to alleviate the boredom because I'm not allowed at Sydney during the week to see Ray and now I'm not allowed there this Friday or Sat morning. I cannot wait for Ray to be done with pledging. Life will be sooo much better afterwards (well mainly for him but when his life is easier mine is too). Anyways back to school, I have nothing to do during the week. My classes are sooo darn easy and I really don't have to do the reading and when I don't HAVE to do something it generally doesn't get done. Lol.
Sooooo RING WEEK STARTED LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for fun traditions. Last night I did flower night for my first year and made her flower pens, a bag with flower decals, a flower jewelry holder, i got her a snow white tiara, a teddy bear, and lots o candy! She got me lots o care bear stuff which just made my morning. I felt soooo bad! She waited until 2 in the morning to come so that I would be asleep but I couldn't fall asleep last night and around 2 I had to go potty and when I opened the door there she was! And she gave me the saddest look! I felt soooo bad! But oh well. I know her and she is a real sweetheart. She's in my dance class (or was she hasn't been in a while) and she's from Kentucky. I can't wait for the rest of the week because on Friday I GET MY RING!!!!!!!! Yayayayayayay!!!!
Oh so tonight I get to go see Rent which is just sooo cool. I love Rent. My roomies and I are driving up to Tech to see it and then are going to go out for dinner. We also get to see John whom I haven't seen in forever! Really I'm just in an excited mood today seeing as how I got a bunch of Care Bear's stuff from Megan (my first year)!! I got a blanket, a reversible pillow case, and a towel and washcloth set!! Woohoo!!!
Ok so really that's all that's been going on because really my life is boring. Oh! I saw the Matrix Revolutions and that was SUCH SUCH SUCH a good movie!!! OMG it was amazing. I wish I could tell you all about it but some of the people that read this (*cough cough* amy *cough cough*) haven't seen it and want to and would KILL me (probably in my sleep) were I to tell all about it in here. But everyone should go and see it!!! RIGHT NOW!!!!! Go.

Sorry for the delayed updates but I've been incredibly busy behind the red brick wall (and outside of it as well). I'm sooo excited for the reading of the new Greek Play tomorrow. It's gonna be soo cool. I get to dress in animal print. =) It's gonna be great. Also my parents are coming down for the day tomorrow to see the play and take Will and I out to dinner so that will be fun. They're so cool.
Oh!! I got into the American University Washington Semester program that I wanted to do sooo badly. SO next semester will be spent in DC the BEST city in the US (if not the world but I haven't been abroad that much so I couldn't say). I'm sooo excited. Yayayay for me!

Oh amusing side note (well at least to me)...I keep referring to the stuff that I want to do for my junior not my first year since I've never done ring week before. Ok ok so maybe it's just amusing when you're there for it. Ah well.
So it's gone from being unbearably hot in this room to being freezing cold. We still have some of the windows open because they are freaking hard to close so we about freeze every morning when we get out of bed. It makes getting up for class just that much harder. Ah well. That's what you get when you live without air conditioning. Meh. We'll survive.

Ok this is me reclaiming my livejournal. (For those who don't understand: see the comments for the previous entry). Well the chemistry has been dropped. I love chem but I had Satan....oh excuse me Seidman...for lab and that man just scared the hell out of me and I just knew I was gonna do bad (and by bad I mean a C or so) so I dropped and now have only 13 credits which is just exciting. Yay. This'll make my life SO much easier and more laid back, which is always a good thing. It's funny. I have more work to do for my extracurriculars than for my actual classes. Heehee. That's always fun. =) I have a meeting in 1/2 and hour for a club and I need to type up some stuff so I'm gonna go do that. I just wanted to let everyone (*ahem* JEFF AND RAY *ahem*) that this is me reclaiming MY journal. So there =p

Yay for Tropical Storm Isabel!! We've had a fun evening so far. We (Sarah, Amy, Vera, and I) went Krogering to get provisions for the storm and smart us got mostly refrigeratable things. Lo and behold, 8:00 rolls around and we lose power. Carrie luck strikes again. Heehee. Amy and Sarah were climbing on all of the furniture to close the windows. It was rather amusing and I have PICTURES!!! *evil grin* While the power was out Amy and I got to blow bubbles, eat ice cream, take a barefoot expedition out into the storn, and play MASH in the hall. It was soooo much fun reverting back to middle school. Ok so Carrie luck has struck again. They cancelled all classes after 1:30 today b/c of the storm. All my classes are over at 1:30. Why do they toy with me like that? Ah well. Now all I can do is hope that they cancel classes for tomorrow. That would be wonderfully wonderful because I have chem tomorrow and I really don't want to go to chem tomorrow. On a completely different subject, I'm starving (mainly b/c I haven't eaten today) but I also haven't showered in about 24 hours and it gets really hot in my room at night (stupid no air conditioning) so I'm rather icky at the moment. I'm also being lazy at not walking to the dining hall. Oh well. I'll survive, hopefully.
Sarah is listening to some really weird, scary, screaming music. It has me worried. She is also laughing maniacally. I have weird roomies, but then again I fit in real well in this room. Heehee.
On another note, Ray's grandmother is really sick so he has to go to C-ville this weekend and probably for many more weekends over the coming months b/c they don't think that she has very much longer and then he's starting pledging soon so I'm not gonna see much of my boyfriend over the next two months. This makes me really sad but there's nothing that I can do about it. I'll just stick it out and it will be fine by November.
